Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts for poster and paper presentations should be related to at least one of the domains/themes listed below. All selected abstracts submitted within the deadline of 15th Nov, 2025.

General Guidelines
- Abstract Submission is possible only after registration on the Website.
- The 6 subthemes under the Award Paper category are:
- 1. Urban Public Health
- 2. Maternal & Child Health
- 3. School Health
- 4. Health Education/Gender Issue
- 5. Occupational Health / Environmental Health
- 6. Community Based Intervention / Appropriate Technology
- During abstract submission, the preferred mode of presentation must be selected:
- For UG students: IPHA Oral Paper Award Category
- For PGs/Faculty:
- 1. IAPSM Oral Paper Award Category
- 2. IPHA Poster Award Category
- 3. Non-Award Oral Paper Category
- 4. Non-Award Poster Category
- Incomplete abstracts will not be considered for the Award Paper category.
- Abstracts should be structured as Background & Objectives, Methodology, Results, Conclusion, Keywords and must be within the word count of 250 words.
- All submitted abstracts will undergo a review process by the scientific committee before being selected for the conference, including the format of presentation.
- The presenting author should have registered for the conference. Only one person will be allowed to present, and only the presenting author will be issued a certificate.
- Present only unpublished and unpresented work.
- Define all abbreviations and acronyms at first use.
- Abstracts must be self-contained, with no reference to other documents.
- The decision of the scientific committee on the mode of presentation will be final.
- The list of abstracts accepted for Award / Oral / Poster presentation will be updated on the website by 10th December 2025.
Format for Abstract Submission
- Background and Objectives – Introduction to the issue/problem and purpose of the study or hypothesis.
- Methodology – Briefly explain methods used to achieve objectives.
- Results – Key findings in summary form.
- Conclusion – Summary and recommendations.
- Keywords – 3–5 keywords.
Important: Limit the abstract to 250 words (excluding headings and keywords).
